Women On Mission (small missions focused groups)

• WINGS (Women IN God’s Service)

  • 6pm in the Parlor – First Monday in Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Nov, and first Tuesday in Sept
  • Focus on local community, schools and missionaries
  • Partnership with local DHR Foster Care Services to provide support for children in foster care

  • Learn about mission work and missionaries
  • Mission service activities
  • Typically meets during the day on the second Monday of each month at 1pm

• Project of Samaritan’s Purse, delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to children around the world

• Monthly Donations for Shoeboxes

  • Donations for postage accepted every month

  • February  — Sunglasses, Hair Clips, Ribbons and Bows, Children’s Jewelry
  • March  — Colors, Coloring Books, Sewing and Tool Kits
  • April  — Washcloths, Combs, Brushes, Toothbrush and Holders, Soap and Holders & other hygiene items
  • May  — Flashlights, Containers to hold small items, Band-Aids
  • June  — Shoes, Socks, Flip-Flops
  • July  — Outfit of clothes, T-Shirts, Dresses, Hats
  • August — Pencils, Pencil Sharpeners, Erasers, Colors, Small Writing Pads/Notebooks, Rulers
  • September  — Playdough, Small Etch-a-Sketch, Small Puzzles, Jump Rope
  • October  —  Activity Pads, Colors, Binoculars, Kaleidoscope, Foam/Rubber Balls
  • November  — Turn in your boxes with postage
  • December  — Prayers
