What should I expect?
The First Friday Family Film Festival is more than simply a movie under the stars.
Beginning at 7pm we will have pre movie activities and entertainment.
This might be a band, crazy games, or wild science experiments.
Each night is a family experience with food, prizes, and a great movie.
Each night there will be giveaways for the first 100 kids that arrive at the festival.
Come early, meet some new friends and have a great time!
Where is the Film Festival?
The First Friday Family Film Festival is being hosted by First Baptist Church Dadeville.
The grass field behind the church on West St. between Cass and Eufalla Streets will be converted to the biggest movie theater Dadeville has ever seen.
What does it cost?
The movie is FREE! We will also provide free popcorn and bottled water.
Each movie night will also feature a special treat like snow cones or cotton candy.
While kids may want to eat only cotton candy and snow cones, we know that you might want real food.
There will be food venders on site to allow you to purchase food.
What time does the movie start?
The party will kick off at 7pm but the movie will start once it is dark enough.
The sunset time changes every month but the movie will begin approximately 20-30minutes after the official sunset time.
We encourage everyone to arrive early to have time to get food and treats.
We will have giveaways and games that you will not want to miss.
What should I Bring?
You can bring a blanket and/or camp chairs to sit on.
However, please note that camp chairs will only be allowed in designated areas to ensure everyone can see the movie.
Bring money for food venders if you want to eat supper. Popcorn and bottled water will be free.
What should I not bring?
No coolers or large bags (other than diaper bags) are permitted.
Outside food and drink is prohibited. Do not bring alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons, fireworks, noisemakers, laser pointers, etc.
All movie events are smoke-free so please refrain from bringing any smoking related objects; this includes tobacco, e-cigarettes and vaping products.
Can I bring my pet?
While we love pets, with the exception of Service Animals, pets are NOT permitted.
What if it rains?
In the event of rain or high winds a movie may be canceled or rescheduled.

Is the screen big enough?
The screen is 33ft from corner to corner and can be seen from all over the event site.
