Forrest Jones
Minister of Children and Families
Forrest Jones’ proudest accomplishment is being married to his wife Caren for almost 20 years. They are parents for 8 (yes, EIGHT!) children. Forrest earned a Bachelors degree in education from Auburn University and a Masters in Church Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry from Southern Seminary. Prior to being called into vocational ministry, Forrest served as a police detective. He is passionate about helping parents succeed in their God given job as parents by equipping them to live gospel centered lives. Forrest and Caren are foster parents and have fostered 30 kids as part of their calling to minister to children and families in the child welfare system. Forrest is also involved in the local community serving as a Volunteer Firefighter.
